MY STory
Hey! I’m Beka Moore, the photographer behind the lens.
Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by cameras—my father worked in television production, and by the age of eight, I was already assisting with news cameras. In high school, I received my first DSLR, and what began as a creative hobby quickly became a lifelong passion.
Originally from Kentucky, I later earned my degree in Visual Communication, specializing in Commercial Photography, from Ohio University. In 2014, I took a leap of faith and fully committed to photography as my career, developing strong technical and creative skills across portraits, architecture, product, branding, and visual storytelling.
In 2018, I relocated to Central Texas, where I’ve continued to grow my work and serve a wide range of clients. Over the past decade, I’ve collaborated with businesses, entrepreneurs, and real estate professionals to create intentional imagery—ranging from website redesigns and branded content to promotional materials, social media imagery, and professional headshots. I have also spent the past five years working with realtors, producing imagery that highlights properties with clarity, warmth, and market appeal.
For several years, I was contracted in a hospital setting, where I had the privilege of photographing over 1,000 families and newborns. That experience strengthened my ability to work with care, patience, and attention to detail during meaningful moments.
My approach to photography is rooted in connection. I strive to create a calm, comfortable environment where clients feel confident and authentically represented, allowing each image to reflect both purpose and personality.
Outside of photography, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, discovering new restaurants, playing board games, and staying active at the gym. I have two dogs and a cat, and I’m a lifelong animal lover.
